t2. Thanks for info. I vividly recall 1998 correction when Wall Street Gangs were telling people about overpriced tech stocks !. On that day ,I bought 3000 shares of CSCO at 53(That is 3 splits back!!) and 2000 shares of Lu at 58(2 split back). As gentleman said it well tonight on this thread, good tech stocks will come back in a big way. Stay long and do not panic! .One who panic will lose

Does anyone know many days typical online brokers give clients to meet margin calls? Does it differ from full service brokers?
My thinking is that maybe it is Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday selloffs that are being played out in forced margin selling.
