Ah Cascade Communications, my first experience with a falling knife. Still have the scars. Thought that was '97 though. Maybe not. Time flies.

Nope, just proving that when I incessantly post on something it is because I know I am right about the intermediate direction. We'll see, I suppose. Then you haven't been investing in it for very long. Back in 1996 when I was an associate at Bear Stearns, CSCO got crushed in the networking slowdown along with COMS, ASND, CSCC (do you even know what that symbol stands for?), SHVA, FORE, and many others... Actually, Stockdood, that's when I first invested in them. And, yes, I remember Cascade. In fact, I can probably tell you exactly what kind of products they made... (not to mention how they work). Besides, I was talking about the company's revenue growth when I was talking about 35% year over year. Not the stock's growth. Not saying that the fundamentals have changed, because they are actually pretty good right now, just saying that the valuation got WAY ahead of itself, even for CSCO standards... And I'm not disagreeing with that. I'm just saying that 45% off of it's highs seems pretty extreme to me. How did you come up with that #? Why not 35%? Why not 55%? Can't wait to taste that beer!!!<ggg> Well, you are tantalizingly close. $55 intraday. Even I didn't think it would get this low... BUT, I still think you are going to have to eat those words... Too bad you won't have anything to wash it down with!!! <vbg>
