Big, I find your post reassuring. I read quite a few industry articles, maybe 2-3 dozen a week. I know we are going to have a NG shortage (that's a no-brainer), and a good idea of when it will be. For the past few months, and especially since the OPEC meeting, I have gotten the strong feeling that we will also have a real problem with oil supplies worldwide in about a year. Between BigBulls excellent posts on worldwide demand increasing, the Norweigans not being able to meet quotas, the Iraqi overpumping, the Alaskan and North Sea declines, and the Saudis and Kuwaitis inviting foreign firms to rebuild their industry, it seems obvious to me that problems are a brewing. Nice to know others are seeing the same thing.

Big,

<<<However...and this is a BIG however...I strongly believe that the world is heading dead on into a supply crisis as related to oil and natural gas. >>>

I share your belief.

Can you give us a time frame of when this might happen? I wont hold you to it, I am just curious of when you see this happening. I am in the process of opening a commodities account and am looking at the Dec 2002's, 2003's, and 2004's . Which would you play if you were a betting man?
