I am too nervous to short a high flyer so I shorted SCH a few days ago with the thinking trading might dry up and margin interest revenue will go down as investors lighted up

One would think that the current market troubles would put some doubt in individual online traders, resulting in less margin interest as well as less trading related commissions.
..at least for a few months.
Some may think it is a permanent shift but I think it will only be temporary until the next round of buying leading up to 2001. There may however significant doubt about online traders that shorting might work out in the near term.

I actually hope to see the market close up tomorrow, setting up for a rally but will be prepared in any case--i hope.

good luck
