I agree Fred, great post. I have not sold any of my positions, because I do not know when things are going to turn around. But I have done enough research to be comfortable with all the companies that I own. Not on margin, don't understand TA, have not a frickin clue how to "time " the market but I do have a lot of patience and a long investment horizon. So I am enjoying the start of baseball season, coaching my son's soccer team (6 year olds, what a riot) and hoping the weather will hold out so I can garden a bit this week-end. Of course if Mr. Market decided to turn around I could give up my moonlighting for DrKoop.Com!

Margin Calls

Ah me! Ah me!
How can it be.
Each stock I own is down.

I had great gains
But what remains
Puts on my face a frown.

Gem was a star
That would go far
But now its far below

When on my screen
I will see green
I really do not know.

Just one more fall
And a margin call
Will come here in the mail.

Last year I said
"Each spring there's red"
I'll be ready without fail.

But.......

I'm caught once again
On the indebted train
I didn't get out in time.

Freeus
(Actually my account is still ok but my fiancee's which I manage is about to be in danger.)
Now no mean comments please, kindness and gentleness only
