Thanks for the reply Claude, and I hope that those who wish
to get a handle on the location part of any mining investment
treat it like a moving target that can change very quickly.

My very short and limited insight reading these mining threads
has given me the impression that even with good dirt on the
work site, poor management and local laws like permits seem to be
what makes or breaks a company.

I have zero mining and geology knowledge,
and seem to accept that long as in 5 years
for a petroleum company to finally start commercial delivery of
oil or gas from Alaska or especially out in the deep water, but I
can not understand the difficulty and high cost to filter rocks and
dirt to seperate precious metals.
