It wouldn't surprise me - Moore and Noyce were technical masters. I believe Jerry's background was sales/marketing.

In fact, some of Jerry's funding came from either Moore or Noyce (not sure which).

Ken,

Look at the bright side: Most on this thread know the potential of AMD, and bought based on this knowledge. Rest of the market is not convinced yet, the result of which is the lower stock price. This low stock price let us accumulate the stock at discounted prices.

Now, all we need to do is sit back, relax and wait for the rest of the market to catch up. The discounted price of the AMD shares will one day go away, and this will be a pure profit for us.

But this is not all. Even if the PE stayed at ridiculously low 15 (or whatever it is now), we will still gain, because AMD earnings are going to keep on increasing.
