I was under the impression that Solano would be a late Q2,2000 product. I didn't expect it to be available in Intel mobos only at that time.

It amazes me the problems Intel seems to be having.

BTW, my Costco has Compaq P-III-800s and 700s...no Athlons.
Perhaps Intel put all the resources into yielding some Coppermines and an SDRAM chipset was put on the back burner a bit...?
Maybe they still think RAMBUS will fly.
