appro - what a great post to end an awful two weeks. dinner_and_a_fine_whine is one of the finest comic writers I've come across since P.J O'Rourke. Still has me laughing.

appro- Much thanks for the great post and the link to dinner_and_a_fine_whine. I read it while sitting in my Tokyo hotel room at 6 a.m. and laughed out loud. I hope it was loud enough to wake up the idiot next door who came crashing into his room at 3 this morning, bounced off a few walls, until he apparently slipped into unconsciousness but not before rousing me from slumber after a tough week. No doubt he is an escapee from the nearby Ginza hostess bars. When he wakes up he will have a monstrous head ache, a trash taste in his mouth, and a challenging expense chit to justify. I, on the other hand, had a cup of good thick Japanese coffee, and a great belly laugh. Ahhh, revenge is sweet. <G> Best, Stitch
