Nanovation- I assume you are aware of the Nanovation thread on SI. It has gone quiet lately over the last month or so. The company promised a product the first half of this year. I gather it has a product but it doesn't utilize the nanotechnology that got the company all that attention six months ago. Or at least I don't think it does. The company isn't very communicative. I made several request for information from IR and never got anything. The IR person was always out or in a meeting when I called and didn't return calls but that was three months ago. Things may have changed.

You are aware you can buy the company's pre-IPO shares through the Canadian holding company, Stamford International? However, there are restrictions on when you can sell those shares after the IPO (see the Nanovation thread) , which was supposed to happen by mid-2000 but now they are talking about sometime later. Stamford International has had some known stock scam artists involved in its operation, one of which served briefly on the board of Nanovation.

If you invest, the disclaimer about using funds you can afford to either lose altogether or have tied up for a prolonged period of time certainly apply to this one.
