There was a little scramble starting June 1996. Then another one starting June or maybe July 1998. Now the latest little fun and it's not even June.

There have been a LOT of new people suddenly decide the stock market is the place to get rich. There will be a LOT of people feeling quite ill. This seems likely to be a bit more than a casual, blase, overconfident 'buy the dip' drop. A LOT of people might find their IQ and libido going down as fast as they went up with the rising market.

Then again, I have no data to count panic, people etc. So maybe it will just start another gold rush.

At least it quietens down the SI streams to a trickle, so they are easier to keep up with.

All guesswork,
Mqurice
