Gottfried, >Gary and all, "Intel still largest chip maker, Dataquest says"

And still by about 3 to 1. NEC's chip business is about $9 billion revs per year. In the mid-80's TI and Motorola took turns at being #1 in the world and Intel was somewhere aroun d fifth to seventh.

Chip revenue history on another down day so far, even raining in Silicon Valley. I'm thinking of picking up some more AMAT in what's starting to look like a candy store.
