Thanks for the story, its a good one. The question I always ask people that are involved in those kinds of companies is,"How do you sleep at night!" Now I know it is with a mouth guard <G>. Good to know you told them to shove it.

The response I have for any insurance agent that tries to sell me whole life and it's mutations is, "The cost of death is always the same whether I buy term or whole, I prefer to keep my investments separate from insurance this way I know exactly what the insurance is costing me and what the investments are returning." I've never had an agent who would argue with me beyond that point.....I guess they figure it's not worth their time.

You have made me smile. My half brother owned a insurance company my sister in laws native tongue is Tagala. My brother tried his darndest to help Filipino people because they were unfamiliar with the insurance laws in Canada. My daughter ended up teaching turned it into a twentyfour hour job at home with one two year old called Nikhil.

Another odd thought the company my daughter worked for then went under. They were large their products were sold through banks. Could they of been of honest?
