Greenlight.Com Eases the Pain of Taxes with Cash Back and the

Ultimate Car Buying Experience

Greenlight.com, the fastest growing online car-buying web site, today announced that customers can count on getting something back - even if it's not from Uncle Sam - with $250 cash back on all new cars bought from Greenlight.com through May 15. Greenlight.com is the first online car-buying service that has developed a true click and mortar model -- combining an online buying experience with the nation's strongest network of local dealer partners.

"Our commitment to our customers starts when they log onto Greenlight.com and continues even after they drive away in their new car," said Joel Manby, President of Greenlight.com. "We know that tax time can be just as stressful as buying a new car traditionally has been - we are pleased to be able to offer a pain reliever on both fronts this month!"

Greenlight.com offers extensive services to ensure that buying a new car is a positive, hassle-free experience. The service is newly available in top markets across the United States such as Atlanta, Ga., St. Louis, Mo., Portland, Ore., Jacksonville and Orlando, Fla., Greensboro and Raleigh, N.C., Salt Lake City, Utah, as well as in California, including Sacramento, San Francisco and the surrounding Bay area, San Diego and Los Angeles. National expansion is planned for summer 2000.

Greenlight.com not only provides all the information needed to make an informed car buying decision, but also state-of-the art resources to help customers configure and order the exact car they want at a great up-front, no haggle price. Each customer has access to a personal account manager, who guides the customer through the selection and purchasing process and 24-hour, 7 day-a-week customer service. This type of service is particularly important for customers who would like to set up test drives, arrange for trade-ins or need financing options.

In addition, Greenlight.com is the only company giving new car buyers the control and convenience of purchasing online, plus the benefit of ongoing service and support from premier local dealerships. With local dealers representing every make and model, customers have a complete range of competitively priced automotive options from which to choose.

About Greenlight.com

Greenlight.com was founded in 1999 to bring to new car buying the same control, convenience and simplicity that online shopping has brought to other consumer goods. Greenlight.com goes well beyond the referral model of most online auto sites and lets customers actually purchase their new cars online. Greenlight.com has developed a true click and mortar model -- combining an online buying experience with the nation's strongest network of local fulfillment and service dealer partners. Greenlight.com simplifies the buying process by giving consumers low, upfront pricing, the ability to get the exact car they want, a dedicated live account manager, and support from our local partners where and when it is needed.

Greenlight.com is backed by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, a leading Silicon Valley venture capital firm, and Asbury Automotive, the largest private network of national auto dealerships. Greenlight has also received a strategic investment from Amazon.com and was selected by Amazon.com (NASDAQ: AMZN) as its exclusive partner in the new car market. <several thousand acre central park in manhattan.>

According to my calculations, central park is only 800 acres in size:

2 1/2 mi. (59th St. to 110th St) x 1/2 mi (8th Ave. to 5th Ave.) = 1.25 sq. mi.

Just trying to keep you honest, kis!
