In theory, yes. However, if Multi-Microsofts perceive higher profits available in abandoning today's low price high volume strategy in favour of higher margins on fewer sales, prices will rise. This will not necessarily follow a divided Microsoft, but it's one possibility -- and it's consumer unfriendly.

The necessary brevity of this forum curtails expressing completely developed thoughts, making misunderstandings inevitable. Thank-you for requesting clarification.
