I closed out old short put positions and resold them at a higher strike price 3 or 4 times this last month. You do not have to be long this stock to make money here. The premiums are extremely high, as you have learned.

I can't deny that this stock has strong upside potential. That's why I'm now onboard when in the past I wouldn't touch it. Keep in mind that if and when AMD ever gets Fab30 online they will be paying large interest bills and writing off lots of depreciation. With their current situation where supply is greater than demand and mounting inventories, they may not bring that fab online for quite some time, even if it is operational.
