ADSN APR 14, 2000, M2 Communications - Continental Airlines has formed an agreement with Advanced Systems International to use its web-based Labour Management Software to provide the airline with e-business labour reporting tools that will cover 26,000 employees worldwide. Some airline flights were forced to be temporarily diverted to Taiwan early Friday 14 April when a storm in Hong Kong caused landslides and flooding. Early morning departures from Chek Lap Kok airport were also delayed. Union leaders expect Texan investors to be ready to make formal offers in the next two weeks for the bankrupt Mexican Airline Transportes Aereos Ejecutivos once the airlines' value has been established reported El Financiero/Infolatina. The Texan investors have yet to be named. Marketers of the new Airbus Industrie A3XX aircraft hope to gain approval next month to start making formal offers to airlines for the aircraft according to AviationNow.com. AirTran Airways has launched a Two-Day Sale offering travellers discounted fares for travel between Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, New York, Newark, Newport News/ Williamsburg, Washington DC and any city AirTran Airways' serves. Tickets must be purchased by 14 April and travel must be completed by 15 June 2000.
