What most of us objected to was the timing of her "change of heart". She did it on the Tuesday of the last week of the quarter when all the mutual fund guys need to reposition their portfolios. Her call inspired a ton of tech selling that hasn't abated yet as everyone else and his brother jumped on the bandwagon. She had to know that a call like that in the last week of the quarter would cause a lot of harm. If she didn't know the damage she could cause, she would be stupid. And I don't think she is.
