Lots of price increases have been disguised or swept under the rug, but inflation didn't just go away. Too much depends on oil costs. A return to the early 80's is coming- double digit inflation by summer Edit-if market drops much further- and looks like monumental crash about to extend itself- recession is a given by Fall/Winter- lots of spending power being drained.
