Does anyone have any comment on Cray's first quarter results conference call ? I was very pleased to hear Mr. Smith speak about all the positive energy that is beginning to flow within the newly formed company. The fact that a company that was totally focused on supercomputing and the science of creating new technology has now joined forces with the company that invented the supercomputer industry has tremendous potential. SGI did not have a focus on supercomputing and many talented employees departed under this burden. Based on Mr.Smith's comments it would appear that the "new" Cray is creating a much more attractive place to work and that some former employees are very interested in working for a company whose goal is to create the next generation of supercomputer technology and to dominate the global supercomputer market by producing superior products. It sounds like things are going very well.

If only the Tera MTA (16 processor) were installed and operating at San Diego... hmmmmm ?
