Richard, I think the equity market will reverse over the next day or two and bounce, perhaps hard. Then we get more serious trouble and selling ahead. Greenspan has remained conspicuously silent up to this point. I sense the equity market may hear some friendly words from the Chairman over the next few weeks if this orderly decline continues. I don't think it will help to much initially, but it should cushion the decline somewhat. On the other hand, if the equity market gets the Grizzly, it will still sell off. PS The POG went up almost $12 in a couple of hours last week on a Tuesday.
