Because this time, interest rates are going up.

The NAZ was 50% higher than it's 200 day MA. It's now much closer.

Not to pick at technical points, but this is a bear market. There is a greater variety of bear market.

It is far more likely to have a swift snapback with a correction than with a bear market. There is a good chance that the NAZ won't see its old highs for many months, possibly a year or more.

Why did this happen. Too many idiots driving prices up to ridiculous levels. We had to invent new paradigms just to make sense of the lunacy that was happening. The last thing you should want is for those same idiots to tard charge the NAZ so it hits 5000 again by next week. There needs to be more fear in the market for the bull to continue. Oh, and valuations matter.

Bearish indicator of the new century: CNBC interviewing housewives for their stock picks. Pathetic.
