Whew. What an awful week. Anybody left standing? Are we oversold yet? The market is in a funk and even good news is interpreted negatively. Even companies with huge unexpected earnings increases (eg AMD)are down substantially this week. This is irrational pessimism. This round of pessimism started with the MSFT decision. All the guys who cheered that decision are probably wishing today that it was all a dream . . . . It will take quick resolution of that case to bring some stability back to the market. How can the federal government ignore the damage that is being done because Netscape failed and Microsoft played hardball? Next week is another week and I hope to do what I should: buy when everyone is selling. There are many bargains like Citrix out there.
