Rocket, You said...

Whoever it is, good to see it. This is a critical point for this company. Every ITV company is going down the tubes, and GMST, in spite of its earnings and IPRs has been treated the same as every other i-nut out there. The selling has been indiscriminate. If GMST can hold the line here, and separate itself from the group, this could be the time that they differentiate themselves.

No better time to be buying than periods of indiscriminate selling. I liked the fact that the GMST and TV Guide CEO's came to take a stand against the Internet rumor mill and the fact that the counter-measures such as the stock buyback were enacted so swiftly. (It is actually sad that they have to respond to rumors spread so maliciously with just the click of a mouse.) This can only be a sign of excellent management.

I am a newly minted GMST shareholder approximately two years after NY Stem first told me about it with great passion in an instant message dialog box on AOL. That was several splits ago. Had I not been licking other wounds at the time (remember the Asian Flu?) I would have likely been on board sooner with a larger position. Either way, I see this as an opportunity to start a position and then sit back and let the situation develop.

Looking forward to contributing here at some point.
