I think - and I'm not attacking anyone here - I think most dictators (Hitler, Saddam, Gaddafi) would be bears if tested. Oh man oh man oh man. Would hate to see what you would say if you did decide to attack someone. For what its worth, all three of the people you mentioned were manic-depressives. It's the mania part that led them to do what they did, not the depressive part.

I think most dictators (Hitler, Saddam, Gaddafi) would be bears if tested... Happy - you're going a bit far here. Hitler was most likely very bullish on the prospects of world domination of the third reich. And Saddam was most likely bullish on his prospects of taking over Kuwait and standing down US forces. In my view, your assuming that "bearishness" or "bullishness" is an inherent character trait, rather than a view of the current situation. And mind you, you're doing it to an extreme with your analogy. -Eric

These are the lines we hear from them......no choice, no democracy... sir john templeton has been bearish too, so has warren e buffett. even abbey jo suggested to take a nickel off the table and hide it under the pillow besides, how do you know where saddam's dough is ? finally, show me a post, any post on this thread where someone said, you know, hg, hjames, glenn, jan, william, (or anybody), i think you are giving me good advice. after reviewing what YOU say, i am going to take your advice.
