Mike, thx for the added clarifications. I think with the edit in my message, i was trying to question Rarebird`s 4th point on why gold had nothing bullish going for it with the assumption that rate of growth > inflation with the fact that there had been inflation all along and that the ways to measure it had either been altered beyond the point where it would stop being meaningful or that they just werent looking inthe right places and for that i leaned on the definition of inflation (what i understand from) the Austrians...

Changing the topic, am i glad i went mostly cash and gold starting in Dec, eventhough at that point it still seemed mistaken...
