perhaps my use of "healthy" sounds sick or sarcastic. but the market is the past few years has been that of excesses. we need to cure the excesses of optimism, buy on the dips, margin, day trading, etc. we are in the process of doing that. only when that is cured, can the upside resume. the economy is strong, earnings are great, yes, inflation is creeping up, but greenie has been vigilant on this point. and energy has been the biggest component of it, and is already backing off from its recent spike. there are some great buys starting to appear, but go in slow, and buy the good stuff. jmho. larry
