There's a lot of very long faces around my office these days. I'm in a technology dept. and a lot of the inexperienced investors (practically all of then) are heavily overweighted the stuff that's getting killed the worst. I don't see any panic yet. Some are buying the dip others are just saying "I could have", "I should have". Another 20% and I think it's going to get ugly. Especially for one guy I know who was selling tech "puts" by the truckload because they were giving the money away. (ng)

The real place you want to be a "fly on the wall" today is in the COMPLIANCE DEPARTMENT. You now see what clients will say and do to get out of paying for their purchases and blaming the broker. This one will be much worse than 87.
