RE: "To my mind - it's never really been a sell signal, but a tactical reallocation for increased risk."

Bob recommended selling 60 percent of one's equities. True or false?
>>>

Absol-tutely true. I point blank refuse to argue with the truth.

AJC recommended selling 5% of her equities. True or false? Is she also part bear????

Let's just agree that since Bob recommends holding 40% equities, makes him somewhat of a hybrid - 40% bull 60% bear - an animal also known as an allocator. Or is that alligator?
Who knows - maybe he'll recommend selling the remaining 40% after today.

I2: You know, this is so simple. Look at the September letter. Sell signal wording? You bet. However, Brinker has said he made a judgment call not to sell everything. Why? Because he said most people would not and becasue of the tax factor. He also said that he was comfortable with a 0% weighting in equities. I'll bet now dome folks will jump all over him now for not recommending that one clean out the equity portfolio totally and go to 0%. Brinker can't win.

Hey, where was Batman on the subject of risk? Nowhere. He is still looking for Naz 6000 -- well, 5,500 last week. How about Wolanchuck? Go read his crap now. A joke. Ralphie is in the same boat as Batman wearing a clown suit. Brinker was the only one out there talking about risk. Case closed.
