Sorry Clint, I've been through this kind of market on many occasions which pre-date day traders, pre-date the internet, indeed pre-date much of the electronics industry. If day trading seminars, which I thankfully haven't attended, point out that the dichotomy between price levels and momentum can be opportunities in a fast market.. we've all known that for years and its old news and a funtion of the structure not the composition of the players. A fast market will also take out a market makers stock of shares as if a pricing dam had been broken, running shares up or down very quickly. In any case I've no intention of making this a sticking point in our mutual quest for market enlightenment. I've been nimble enough to have done ok so far with my limited understanding.
