Jill,
The buyers in this market are individuals, the hedge funds and institutions are sellers or are sitting on the side. Last week many analyst recommended going to 60% or more cash. They don't pre-announce, they have already done it when they announce. There is little reason to believe they will suddenly step into the market to rescue the on line broker customers who are getting margin calls. This could get even uglier until Wed. Watch out today at 3PM.

about IBM. I expected IBM to run up now because on good earnings. I still hold april 110 calls that is still worth about $5.00 I have bought it at $6.00
Should I sell it while it still is worth something and raise some cash or should I wait until next wee expire?
