<<<Let's face it we need uppers today.>>>

Ok here is one,

A friend just got out of the market completely and lost 2 years worth of gains $850k plus because his broker (from Dean Witter) told him that Monday is going to be even worst. The only stock that he recommended keeping was Batleham Steel and ATHM. I am still listening to Voltaire because this broker's action tells me that they really want to clean the house for a fresh start Monday. How is that for an upper?

Good luck to everyone

dealer, you've done a tremendous amount for the porch and post all the news and stock closings and stuff which is much appreciated. but unc frank started it (with a little cheerleading from me) and voltaire finally came over and invited everybody on, and the whole point from voltaire is tolerance. it's a crazy market and people are worried sick probably, i had a talk w/ tom today myself, but i feel the "bouncer" thing is just a bit excessive. no harm meant here but a while back when we were having lots of fun on the porch we felt it was a place we could go hogwild and say anything--and as a result there was good cheer and little nastiness. tom/voltaire made it that way.

thanx
