I just looked at the financials and, IMO, AMAT is now a good value. Frankly, I thought that it did get ahead of itself, as did many of the techs, and thought the correction was warranted. I now think it is clearly an overcorrection, and with a projected 2001 earnings of around $3.00, I'm planning to add even more. If it doesn't go up this month it will next. I did this before when we had the prolonged doldrums and Teri and the kid were bailing out.

Also, to repeat, the speculators have become eviscerated because of the vaguaries of timing. Unfortunately, we LT people were brought down with them. Frankly, I would reduce leverage to avoid the whipsaw but that get's nowhere.

Its keep your bloomers on and we'll do fine.
