Actually, I agree with Slider. Have you read the internet and High Tech stock threads? What arrogant bastards they were! They had no respect for anyone else, could do no wrong, were bragging about all the money they were making, and anyone who tried to inject a bit of reality into the conversation was ridiculed and insulted. Many broke their arms patting themselves on the back. The smart ones reduced margin usage recently, and the greedy ones are now getting their just desserts. There were plenty of warning signals, like YHOO getting killed repeatedly after beating estimates, or Abbey Joseph Cohen reducing exposure a few weeks back. I don't feel sorry for them at all at this point. Only a fool would be on full margin in the techs. I have even pulled back on margin usage in this industry in the past few days.
