AutumnHenry: Mr. Cashin is a nice fellow, but he is not "very accurate"...he's like the rest of us. Sometimes he's right, sometimes he's wrong. Much of what you say is, I believe, true. There's gonna be more pain. And since you brought up Merrill's Mr. McCabe, who's been bearish for the past three years...well, he's finally on the right side. And smiling. I'll do a small bit of nibbling right near the close, take the pain (What pain with 50 or 100 shares?) and enjoy the weekend. This is not the end of the world, and not the time to panic...but to make a few dollars. Sure, the market's look lower, maybe a lot lower...but not all at once, and unlikely without a nice rally. I think Cashin is vey accurate and have watched him for years and felt the same. I stand by that.
