WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The White House said on Friday it would not comment on the huge falls on U.S. stock markets, just before the Dow Jones industrial average (.DJI) marked its biggest one-day point decline ever.

A White House spokesman said there would be no comment, and would say nothing more.
