Scumbira:

What next? Meteor impacts?

Stop investing in AMD before you kill all of us!

RE:"What next? Meteor impacts?"

With Reno, the DOJ and all the Lawyers, I thinking a meteor might be a good thing for the markets.
I know, I should "Relax" (TM-Scumbria) but I just can't get those morons out of my mind...

I wanted to buy a few stocks other than AMD today. MEDI, SUNW and INTC...
I only ended up with Intel as it fell through my limit order...
I had an order for SUNW at 75, looked like it came down and hit it but I wasn't filled...d*mn.

Jim

What really stinks is the timing of all this. Had the market held it together for a couple more weeks, the April calls would have been worth a fortune.

I've been investing in AMD for a decade now, and there is always something which keeps me from getting rich off it. It used to be Intel lawsuits.

Same here. I had a boat load of March 22 1/2 and 25 (1994) and AMD won the lawsuit. The stock only went to 27 and stayed here until expiration. The next month, interest rate went up and most of the April Calls got wiped out.
