Some pretty serious psychological damage has happened, the best thing that can happen now is for the COMPX to built a base at some level. The confidence of most daytraders should have been shaken quite severely. They will be reluctant to commit large amounts of capital at this point. I hope the base is above 2872, but at this point I have no idea.

Have a good weekend everyone. I have to go to another meeting, so that is it for me for the day.

Circuit breakers first trip at 10% drop in the dow. There are no breakers tied to any other index.

Just seems like no one is willing to step forward and buy. The selling is too severe. My figuring earlier this week was that it would be bloody (not this bad) and it would end Monday with Tax Day. Hopefully MM's gap everything down to about the 3k level as people panic over the weekend and just want to get out. From there we rally.

Should have figured Friday wouldn't be a rally day.
