I hope that all the new investors out there don't take the wrong lesson from this last "correction" and stay out of the market.

The old story about a cat being burned on a hot stove will never sit on a cold stove either seems to apply here.

It would be a shame if the young people get scared away.

The thing is the techs and big cap growth stocks still are very expensive despite the carnage of the past few days. At bear market bottoms stocks usually are UNDERVALUED by traditional valaution tenets. We are nowhere near that level now.

That said, a good bounce could occur at any moment. But do not expect a new bull market anytime soon.
