Osprey, We got a helluva lot closer to the Aug99 trendline support than we did to 3200. 3200 has no relevance on the chart that I can see other than psychological. But hell, your guy probably has more experience than me.

Canadian Markets vs American Markets

I think we have reached the point where the Canadian markets will uncouple somewhat from the American one. I think the NASDAQ has some more to go because there are too many charts of leading NASDAQ issues that have not corrected enough. I see less of that for the Canadian stocks. Yes, we will get caught in any downdraft, but I do think we have less far to fall.

I know by now you all think I am bearish. Not at all. My only desire, other than to get to the pub in the next 15 and drink too many beers, is to be on the right side of the market as often as possible. I'm learning and little by little getting better I hope. Anyway, I just think the NASDAQ has more fall left in it.

If I am wrong, then I hope I am nimble enough to change my mind and take advantage of the bounce.

Have a great weekend everyone. --Allan
