LaShark, SD, the best way to answer your question...

is to use the NASDAQ Chart below... Identify October 1987 and compare the "dent" it did with others further along to the right of the Graph... Very positive economic fundamentals are still with us, which are certainly far better than they were back in 1987...

quote.yahoo.com^IXIC&d=my

Also consider that the remaining downside is probably around 300 points and the upside, this year, probably 1500 to 2000 points... Based on past History, over the next 5 years, the upside potential should be of the order of 5 to 6000 points above current level...

Some psychologic damage has been done in the last few days but those who have invested in Companies with Intrinsic Value, should have nothing to worry about...

Monday will bring people selling stuff that in the back of their minds they know to be crap. SEVU is top of the list. And they are sure that FG 666 has screwed them by buying a private placement and hyping this pig so he can sell to them.

► BULLISH: SeaView Sponsors Weather Channel Segments

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., May 09 /PRNewswire/ -- Following last week's
announcement, SeaView Video Technology Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: SEVU)
(website: www.sevu.com) today reported a second government project is in the
works. The first, installing SecureView systems in Europe for the 7th ARMCOR
Division, will be followed by a $1.5 million-plus installation covering 100
National Guard facilities in the northeastern US. Both orders were
commissioned through the company's teaming partner, Logis-Tech, Inc., by the
Department of Defense.
SecureView systems place simple camera "floodlight" bulbs in standard
electrical light sockets. The video is then sent through electrical wiring to
a computer, which controls various watch zones and alarms and allows viewing
and control capability from anywhere in the world. The system has over 17
granted patents.
"We will be offering a similar system for large office buildings,
hospitals, hotels, and so forth," stated Senior VP Dan Mehosky. "Smaller
systems for the consumer, in the $399 range, will go on sale in June with a
nationally aired infomercial. The system eliminates the need for hard-wiring,
which is the big and complicated expense."
The company has also applied for a listing on the American Stock Exchange.
Said CEO Rich McBride: "We have received a letter from AMEX, which was
positive. They indicated the acceptance review is proceeding."
SeaView's Marine Division exceeded FY99 sales in just four months, with
sales of underwater cameras topping the $1-million mark. Dennis McDougall,
Media Director, announced the company will be seen nationally on the Weather
Channel, "a big splash for SeaView. It's a massive campaign in a medium that
skews to our target audience."
