Enormous performance was no shield in this market. Some of my non-biotech media distribution favorites (NSATF and UCOMA!) reported sales and earnings up a mere few hundred percent and got slaugtered. P/E's are in some cases making their way into the single digits. My biotech holdings were simply scalped. Unfortunately, next week will likely see the fund redemptions that were logged in Friday's lemming race. I do also beleive that tax time selling and margin collapse had a lot to do with it.

So what to do now? In the past, biotech bear markets have been persistent, I hope this isn't the case now. I hope the internet age will allow investors to get all the information they need to regain confidence by the string of good news which should be coming out in the next 12 months (Anyone notice QLTI get slammed at the same time they got approved by the FDA?)

Rather than try to find the bottom, Maybe just finding outrageous values is enough. VPHM is a good example selling at 1x cash.
