that's what i'm thinking as well. a certain percentage of the 'long-term' investors will think hard over this weekend and possibly spurn such 'expert' advice as emanated from Tom Galvin of DLJ today (maximum downside to the NAZ 300 points, upside potential in the next 12 months 2000 points).

how the hell does he know? he intimated DLJ would raise its equity allocation on Monday, but ON WHAT GROUNDS? just because we went from totally insanely overvalued to absolutely ridiculously overvalued?

i think when this down move ends, we may see a rally that lasts for a month or so, and then the second stage downturn should start, the one that will REALLY hurt...

look at the Nikkei for guidance...what it did in '90, the NAZ is fated to repeat imo.
