interestingly, i think very few were really short during this sell-off. only the die hard bears like those on this thread and a few of the very experienced traders...of course i don't know about everyone, but i conclude this from both the short interest ratio and the comments on the various threads. what does the porch sitter say? houses and angels all not available for rescue? warning: there will be a VERY sharp rally at some point that will lead to declarations that the bottom is in...don't be seduced by it, play it, but be nimble. THE bottom is probably far away...i expect the economy to take quite a hit at some point, and that will be reflected in stock prices...
