Wow! I sincerely admit to being terrified of the beasts. There seriously, are accounts in the paper here every other day in the spring and summer of people being killed and mauled by bears. On jogging paths etc. no less. Then again, I know of people who boat to the little islands around here and shoot the bears from the water. Not exactly sporting, if you're a hunter.

You know, I've been thinking... (scary huh?) With all the talk about the houses etc. and where is all the money? Well, they sure liked those returns they got last year didn't they? Especially in the technology and growth sectors. Well, if I was a brokerage firm b'tard, I too would be sitting on the sideline with my cash letting everyone panic. I'd be waiting for that 50-75% haircut on my favorite earners before getting back in. The companies ain't changing fundamentally. The demand is still there for their products. The economy is still sound. There...I accomplished my goal. I still come out smelling like a rose for the year w/ those awesome returns. Repeat or close to '99. I'm a b'tard but I got those damn good return %'s. And so it goes. And all those IPO's that are postponed or cancelled? Once we start rocking again, they'll be chomping at the bit for the money and I'll lead 'em to market. Sad but true.

of scared!

Who are you kiddin'. You weren't scared. You laughed your az off.

I happened to be out camping. It was an Autumn evening when I was awaken by the urge to relieve some pressure from my bladder.
I felt around the floor of my tent and could find nothing but my wife's fur coat to wear out in the chilly night air.

I walk about 100 feet away from the tent and stand next to a tree. All of a sudden some crazed bayoo back country hunter came out from the bushes and yelled, "Hey bear, reach for the sky!"

I lifted my hands up in mid stream and turned to see who was making all the racket.
All of a sudden as I'm turning like a lawn sprinkler, Coonazless fires a kids' practice archery arrow from K-Mart into into my bare az.

I guess he may have looked a little scared as I yelled and moaned...

...especially when he tried to hang me on his trophy wall.

He still uses my wife's fur coat as a mink-bear rug...
