Isn't this big news? theregister.co.uk; Dave, Remember when Porter brought the issue up re the rumor about Intel not making its quarter.....that is part of the basis for the rumor; the other part is that business for corporate pc's was down for most of the quarter. Like I said earlier, I hope its not true; it will just roil the markets further. ted

The other day when he said it was physically impossible to produce 50 -90% more coppermines I though he meant Intel didn't have enough fabrication equipment or fab space. Now I realize he meant it is physically impossible to produce Coppermines no matter how much fab space and equipment one has. I am sorry Elmer, I misunderstood what you were saying. And I'd bet you thought I would never apologize when I was wrong. Harry
