Happy Girl: <GST - you must have certainly made some pennies today on the dark side...>

The dark side? By refraining to pay absurd prices for stocks I am on the dark side?

<I was actually defending Bill, not whining...>

You whine, and whine, and whine some more -- people who disagree with you are "Hitlers". Grow up.

<And about poor judgement...well its better than having poor taste...which you exhibited lately by attacking all the longs here...>

It is true that I do not gladly suffer fools, but I do not attack everybody.

by attacking all the longs here at their most vulnerable moment...

This is to GST and HG not to mention others. The thread seemed uncivial at times during this very volatile time. Many people with a class act, made statements I doubt they normally would make.

It is my humble opinion the GST might have been a little rough on William but HG there is no point in reinterating that in light of the fact I recall GST made an apology.

My point is this thread is full of excellent people. People who understand the markets, people who willing share their opinions, people that are very wise.

I can't find one thread in the entire internet universe that has so much talent as found here. We have people with vast knowledge of macro enconomics, vast knowledge of TA, vast knowledge of FA and as a rule friendly people.

Would it not be nice if we could have "spat" about differing opinions without any personal attacks involved? Many people here fell the market is too high, some too low, some don't have confidence in the net stocks, etc. but we can learn from all these views and possibly make some money and enjoy to commarderie (sp) if we eleminate personal attacks.

As Gump would say "That is all I have to say about that."

Glenn

PS I consider everyone on this thread a good friend KIS excluded. Sorry KIS but I just could not bring myself to call you a good friend. Maybe some day;-)

happy - is this passage from your profile in good taste ?>Those who know they can - Do ; Those who know they can't - Learn ; Those who don't know anything about it - Teach

just wondering...

i really believe that the nasdaq will go to 600 at some point...it has nothing to do with personality or having a dark side. i believe that a fair pe ratio for the nasdaq is 20, not 200 (i can't say what it is now but my understading was the index pe was over 200 at the peak). there are always new companies trying to take the market from old ones and the future stars may not even be in the nasdaq index right now.

and as far as this bit : 'all the longs here at their most vulnerable moment...' - vulnerable ? sure, that is unfortunate, but some consideration imo should be given to selling and walking away.
