X, I gave an opinion, but did not pass judgement. Another minor semantic difference that you seem to like to jump on. My opinion was based on a number of your posts that I have been reading. From what I have seen, your ideas follow very closely those of the humanist movement. If I am totally wrong, I apologize. The human mind is subject to so many quirks, including mine, that I consider it a difficult task for anyone to make a singular decision as to what, really, constitutes morality. Actually, I hope you are not a humanist. When a significant portion of the population has become humanistic in the past, such events as the great flood of Noah's time, the destruction of Sodom and Gomorah, the fall of the roman Empire, etc., seem to occur and clean the mess up. The wretchedness of today's world is approaching that degree of decadence, IMO.

It looks like I made you a bit angry. A quick temper is a good indication of a balanced position, isn't it?

I use the word religion only because it seems to be the common way of identifying a person who believes in a faith. Actually, since religion means a man made set of rules on how to worship a diety, any diety including a human carved statue or even a coke bottle, I really don't like the word. Even though I am a Christian, I do not like the denominational approach to Christianity. Too much human interference, and manipulation of people to fit into another set of humans' agenda. I am independent in that respect and consider my actions with regards to the "field manual" that was written over 2,000 years ago. ~H~
