Expect nothing but positive spin. I remember after the 87 crash the media had nothing but good to say. It was their duty to try to reassure the people, to prevent a loss of confidence in the system. It was irresponsible of them to hype stocks before the crash, but now they don't have much choice. Imagine the consequences if they did say sell.

The stock plunge was not healthy, except for those folks who want to buy a decent stock at a decent price.
