You can build very high reliability PCs, workstations or servers around Intel microprocessors, using RAS measures like ECC, lock-step and other hardware redundancy, clusters, etc. You can even do it with Microsoft operating systems and other software, like MSCS clusters. Someday, the Microsoft non-reliability jokes will be history.
